![]() Some people have both personal and business mail come to the phone so they can read/respond in one place -but then have only the business account sync back to Outlook. It just depends where you put things in the chain. You can play sync games and keep business and personal email separate - so both come to your phone but only business mail syncs with your computer, etc. To me this is completely unnecessary - the built-in apps on the phone work fine, especially given the limitations of screen size, etc anyway. A couple however require an Exchange Server and won't work with POP3 mail. There are also now a number of "Outlook-Like" phone Apps that will reconstruct those modules back into one place. ![]() the email winds up in the phone email app. So the appointments end up on the phone calendar. ![]() will simply sync (or not -depending on your settings) with the App on the phone that represents that piece of the puzzle. So if I set an appointment on my phone, when I open Outlook at the beginning of my day, that appointment shows up. I have a Gmail acc't that I run through Outlook, and I use the other features of Outlook as well. calls, texts, occasionally checking email, jotting sticky notes to myself, etc. Then once I've got my plan for the day, I pretty much use my phone as I'm working. ![]() I like viewing these best on a full screen. my to-do list, the main 'job details' list, etc. I usually start my day by getting on the computer, and looking over the various files associated with the job. ![]() I then set the meeting into my Droid Bionic, using the calendar app that came with the phone. A typical example is when I'm walking a job site, talking on the phone to a sub, away from my computer, and I schedule a meeting. I am most comfortable using my laptop, but finding more and more situations wherein using my smartphone is the better choice. ![]()
